Ivy Croft has multiple species of livestock in order to promote soil improvement and complimentary species coexisting. We currently have Cattle (Wye Angus, Angus, Hereford, Gelbveih, Balancer, Devon, and Black White Face), Katahdin Sheep, Donkeys, Ducks, Chickens, and even a couple of Turkeys. We also raise Quail in the Spring to release and renourish.
Some call this situation a FLURD we are using it as a self supporting diverse group of animals that all have their own purpose. It really is a lot of fun to have the multi species farm.
